A RED LETTER DAY

Our Bible School students truely experienced a "red letter day" on Monday September 9th 2013. On this day four Bible School students with three traveling companions set out to Columbus, Georgia making history for ourselves as well as for Rivers International Bible School. Since February of 2003 our campus has encouraged many students to begin their studies in Theology, and has served approximately fifteen students in receiving degrees that range from Associates of Theology to Doctor of Theology. On September 9th however four students became the first to actually participate in commencement exercises with other national and international students of C.L.S.T. The event was powerful.!

The Lord truely showed us favor this very special day. Dr Ronald E. Cottle the founder and President of C.L.S T. of thirty years announced he had some very special news for us that evening. He was passing the paton forward to Dr. Randal S.Langley who would serve as the new President and CEO. We sat in honor of the moment as Dr. Cottle commissioned "from the ranks" not "up out of the ranks" Dr. Langley as an Apostle of Education . Dr Cottle noted that Dr. Langley's stripes had moved from his side, indicating the stripes on his gown that acknowledged him as a Doctor of Theology, to his shoulders indicating that Dr.Langley was entering into a new position of authority and responsibility. Truely we experienced on earth that evening what heaven had already ordained. It was truely a RED LETTER DAY!

Special thanks to the body of Christ for your support and prayers. The entire trip was a beautiful experience and adventure. Our Bible School is very pleased to annouce to you the following graduates. Nancy C.Taylor,Master of Theolgy, Priscilla V. Gonzalez, Doctor of Theolgy, Evelyn N. Jordan, Doctor of Theology and Katherine R. Miller, Doctor of Theolgy. May we use this knowlege to bring glory and honor to our Lord Jesus and Savior.

Rivers International Bible School is still going strong. View our "Christian Education" Banner for further information. We are excited about futrure graduates and are looking forward to celebrating with them what God is doing in their lives. To God be the Glory! He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIm. Yes! It was truely a RED LETTER DAY!
